Vadim Stavrakov,

Vadim began his career in natural resource consulting in 1994 and brings over 30 years of coastal forestry experience. He is a Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) with the Forest Professionals of British Columbia (FPBC). Prior to joining Strategic Natural Resource Consultants in 2014, Vadim worked with the Lemare Group and Western Forest Products, where he held roles including Planning Manager and Area Engineer. Vadim has managed a wide range of forest development projects involving project management, planning and permitting, cutblock and road permit development, timber appraisal and valuation, contract supervision, budgeting, and cost tracking. He has also worked extensively with First Nations, provincial ministries, licensees, contractors, and public stakeholders.
At Lemare and Western Forest Products, Vadim managed field programs and crews of 10–30 staff responsible for developing approximately 400,000 to 1,000,000 m³ of timber annually, along with extensive road development in complex coastal terrain.
Vadim currently serves as General Manager, West & Assistant Vice President at Strategic, where he leads regional operations across multiple offices, supports multidisciplinary teams, and works with leadership to advance the company’s strategic growth, operational and financial performance, client relationships, and service diversification across British Columbia.
