Rod brings over three decades of commitment to communities and clients in Western Canada. After completing his degree at Queen’s University in 1998, he has run his family’s construction business, served as an elected member of the British Columbia Legislature, held numerous board and agency appointments, and acted as Chief Negotiator for several First Nations. In 2022, Rod led the deal that transacted majority Indigenous ownership of SNRgroup, as part of a vision for this company to provide natural resource planning services and emergency response to any client – Indigenous or non-Indigenous – that is keen to see Indigenous-led companies support their specific projects or initiatives on the reconciliation journey.
